Arthur Robert Bell

U.S. Veteran

Arthur Robert Bell exited this earth peacefully on May 18th 2012, doing what he love the most, working on his Model T and shooting the breeze with a long time friend.

Born to Karl and Hilma Bell on December 6, 1938 in Oregon City, Oregon. Arthur joins his parents and siblings Richard Arthur Bell and Roberta Albright in Heaven. Arthur spent his elementary years in Springfield Oregon, then moved to McKinleyville, California. He graduated from Arcata High School in 1957, then joined the Army with honorable discharge in 1964. From then on he followed his dreams, not rules. Arthur had many passions that he did for a living: mining, logging, flying airplanes, horse trading and welding. He lived a life full of adventure and had a great sense of humor; there was never a dull moment.

He was blessed with four children Regina Moon, Arthur Robert Bell Jr., Jeanne Carter and her husband David Carter, and Marygold Chase. Additional blessings are four beautiful granddaughters Jana Mae Claymore-Colegrove, Tashona Moon, Shay Moon, Whitney Carter and five great grandchildren, with another on the way. Arthur also took great privilege in being an uncle to many nieces and nephews. Arthur was a wonderful friend to many.

Please join us for a celebration of his life on June 23rd, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 17217 Indian Creek Road, Fort Jones, California. Potluck style, please bring your favorite dish and stories about Arthur to share.
