Harriett A. Bean passed away on March 31, 2012 in Corning.

She was the daughter of Ray and Gertrude Church, and was born on September 18, 1918 in Portland, Oregon.

Harriett graduated from Yreka High School in 1936. She married Paul V. Bean and raised their family in Siskiyou County. She lived in Yreka for over 70 years before moving to Corning to live closer to family due to health reasons.

Besides her parents, Harriett was preceded in death by her husband and three siblings, Charles Church, Barbara Bower and Dorothy Alred. Survivors include Paul Bean with 2 daughters and 6 grandchildren, Sharon Schultz with 3 daughters and 4 grandchildren and Dale Bean with daughter, son and grandchild.
