Eddie Indian Wallace

Eddie Indian Wallace, 60, of Macdoel passed away peacefully of natural causes at his home on January 22, 2020. “Top of the morning to ya, well ain’t it a cold sister’s @#$%*!” Eddie Indian Wallace was born on July 28, 1959 in Martinez, CA to Pedro Zuniga & Beverly Ann Epperson. A proud Meewok and Mountain Maidu descendant of Thomas Epperson, the famed Medicine Man, known as “Professor Coyote”. Eddie grew up with best friends Terry Morton “The Old Goat” and Robert Perez. Eddie treasured memories of taking 3-mile long walks with his mother to get her a regular dose of a life sustaining shot. Over his life Eddie found love four times, marrying Linda in 1984, Shelly in 1991 at Folsom State Prison, Kendra in 2004, and finally Eddie and Dion met in August of 2010. They fell in love and were married in Reno, NV on January 16, 2011. They had just celebrated their 9th anniversary when he passed. Eddie was a man of many skills. He started his career as a laborer and worked his way up to running his own crews. At Keith Anderson Construction he drove a pilot truck, and set up and tore down mobile homes. Eddie loved, respected, and was proud to call Keith his boss and friend. Passionate about the process, Eddie was also known for his ability to make the best moonshine this side of the Mississippi and his ability as a grower. People would come from all over the country to learn his marijuana growing techniques. He only shared his most valuable insights with his boys. He will be most remembered for being a warrior. Eddie had great sense of humor and liked to crack jokes on everyone. He liked to call his kids “the sons of his loins”. Eddie loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren. He liked oldies like Etta James and The Lovin’ Spoonful, and he loved Hank Williams Jr., old classic rock n’ roll, Johnny Lang, and the blues. Eddie learned from a young boy that his word was his honor. “He was the most honest man I’ve ever known”, says wife, Dion. Life dealt him a tough hand, but somehow he persevered through it all with a smile, a joint, and that unforgettable voice yelling, “Well that’s a cold sister’s @#$%*!” Eddie had never been afraid of anything his entire life; he just went for it. Eddie loved Trump, and wasn’t afraid to say it loud and proud. At the time of his passing, Eddie was running the Wolf Run Limo Service, wearing his signature top hat with buffalo nickel band everywhere he went. Eddie had a way with dogs and wolves and proceeds from the limo service were used to benefit the Wolf Run Wallace Ranch & Sanctuary (a registered 501c3 for the care of large breed dogs, wolves, and wolf-canine hybrids. Eddie’s favorite pastime was working on his home. When he and Dion took over the Macdoel property it was just bare land. Everything that exists there now is the product of Eddie’s creativity and hard work. At the time of his passing, he had just completed a custom bath and was working on installing a septic tank. Eddie is survived by his wife, Dion Wallace; children, Nicole Nevis, Tourivers Wallace (Samantha Duncan), Starfire Wallace (Kris Thykson), Silverwolf Wallace (Jennifer Kruenegel); step kids, Nicole Kemp (Michael Winkelspect), Aliechia Stout (Jorge Antonio), Emilia Stout (Glen Skjerve); Fernando Chavez; sisters, Luwanna Mandel (Steve), Christina Cizek (John), brothers Harveybear Wallace, Jesuschief Ramos, Jaime Wallace; honorary kids, Marcus Johnson, Kenny Duncan, Ricky Warren, Makayla Beasley, Fernando Chavez (Tanya Leslie) Ivan, Junior (Luciano), Pablo Maresand Alberto Mares; grandchildren, Alicia, Angelica, Antonio Nevis, Rose Kelley, Tygerlily Wallace, Blue Coyote Wallace, Oceania Wallace, Kaden Kruenegel, Cataleya “The Flower Girl” Wallace, Andrew Winkelspect, Axel Winkelspect, Romeo Stout-Chavez, Kalani Chavez. After moving to Macdoel, Eddie made many friends, including AJ Jones, the Mares family, the Canfield family, Joy Sites and family, plus so many more. He truly touched many people’s hearts. Those who preceded Eddie in death include his parents, Pedro & Beverly; and wife, Kendra Wallace who even after losing to brain cancer, Eddie was never the same, he was forever lost without her. Even after his marriage to Dion, Kendra was still very much a part of Eddie. A Celebration of Life service is planned to take place February 5, 2020 at 1:00pm at the Wolf Run Family Ranch, followed by food and fellowship.
