Meredith Louise Perry

Meredith Louise Moeller was born on the 13th of July 1950 in Santa Monica, Los Angeles, California and passed away Wednesday evening the 15th of April 2015 in Yreka, Siskiyou, California. Her parents were Henry George Moeller, Jr. who worked for Douglas Aircraft and Bonnie Louise (Ray) Moeller, who worked for Technicolor. She married Steven Douglas Perry on the 1st of December 1985. Her parents and husband preceded her in death. Meredith lived in California almost all her life including Santa Monica, Hemet, Lancaster, and Yreka. She attended Santa Monica Schools including: Franklin Elementary where she was a Brownie, Toland School of Dance, Lincoln Junior High School, Santa Monica High School where she played the violin in the Orchestra and volunteered as a Candy Striper at Santa Monica Hospital. She graduated in 1968 and was honored by the Optimist Club. Meredith accepted the Lord in April 1968 and was baptized on the 22nd of May in 1974. She continued her education with an Associate Degree in Arts., LVN and Nursing from Santa Monica College. Her jobs included: Professional Staffing, Granada Hills Community Hospital, UCLA Medical Center, Santa Monica Hospital and Home Health Care. Her many interest included travel, preparedness survival, church, voice, dance, community service and genealogy. In Yreka she was involved with Calvary of the Siskiyous, the St. Mark’s Peservation Society where she was Historian and Siskiyou County Genealogy Research Center where she was an avid researcher and organizer. Her Memorial Service was Sunday, April 19, 2015 at St. Mark’s Presevation Square which she had planned with friends Ron and Gloria Chunn and Curtis Westbrook directing the service and included music by David Penner with songs including: Give Me Jesus, Amazing Grace, All You Have to Do Is Believe, House and the Hallalujah Chorus. The sharing of memories was a blessing for all in attendence. Her many friends and cousins who loved her will remember her infectious laugh and joyful zest for life as they visualize her singing and dancing in Heaven. Our many thanks go to Hospice House and Girdner Funeral Chapel in Yreka for their kindness and care.
